Our speakers
Moderator of the event – Matt Jansen, Director of International Recruitment
Matt Jansen has worked in the higher education field for more than 8 years, as well as stepping in the shoes of a lecturer at Bloomsbury Institute London. He is currently the Director of International Recruitment for undergraduate and postgraduate international programmes at Corvinus. Learn more about the application process from him at our Open Day.
Dr. Richard Szántó, Dean of Undergraduate Programmes
Dr. Richard Szántó has been working at the University since 2002, and was elected Teacher of the Year in 2009 and Young Researcher of the Year in 2012. Dr. Szántó is an associate professor in the Department of Decision Theory and the Dean of undergraduate programmes (BA, BSc) since last year.
Dr. Helga Habis, Dean of Graduate Programmes
Dr. Helga Habis graduated from the legal predecessor of Corvinus University of Budapest as a market analyst in 2006. She spent two years as a researcher at Lund University, and she was a guest researcher at Luiss University in Rome and Montreal University. She has been a lecturer at Corvinus University of Budapest since 2010 and the Dean of graduate programmes at Corvinus since 2020.
Ina Ivanova
Bulgaria
Ina is an international student at Corvinus, studying Communication and Media BA (2019-2022). She has also been working at Corvinus as an International Communication Assistant in our Communications Office for the past one year. Hear much about our programmes’ structure and modules from her.
Michelle Jaramillo
Ecuador
Michelle is an international Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship student at Corvinus, studying Sociology MA (2020-2022). She has much experience as a social specialist at several companies. Connor Jackson
South Africa
Connor is an international student at Corvinus, studying International Relations BA (2018-2021). He has previous experiences at a competitor university, but is graduating with us this year as his preferred university was Corvinus.
